Chalk Talk gift

Happy Monday sweet friends,
The glorious weather we’re been having is definitely helping with my mood, I love to see the sun shining :)
Today I am sharing a gift pouch that we made at our class this month. I designed a version of this for our team training in July and when I saw my downline Netty with a re worked version using vellum I had to re create it as well.
Chalk Talk gift pouch  Papillion Pot Pourri and Chalk Talk again :), the colours are Pool Party, Calypso Coral and Crushed Curry. A little frilly doily was wrapped around the top of the bag and the tag cut with the matching framelits simply added behind the ribbon bow.
Here’s a little close up

It is beyond easy and addictive to add those butterflies to everything, I don’t think there was ever a more useful set and today is the last day when you can purchase a bundle comprising the set and one of the matching punches for a cool 15% off. If you’re interested enter the following codes into my on line shop.

This last week has been totally crazy and I am hoping I will manage to catch up with everything properly this new week, we shall see :). For now I thank you for your visit and I promise to see you again soon. Till then big hugs xx

Stampin Up Chalk talk meets Papillion Pot Pourri

Hello, hello :)
Have you having a wonderful and relaxing Sunday? I hope so
I am sharing one of the projects we did at Card Club this month, its been a hectic month and I have loads of projects I haven’t blogged yet.
I fell in love with a card made by Catherine Pooler a fellow Canadian demonstrator and I knew I would have to CASE it. And I did just that without any changes, the card was perfect.
Chalk Talk -so grateful
Sorry about the bad angle of this photo :(. Soft suede and Blushing Bride, a heavenly colour combo that looks very stylish.
Designer paper comes from the Subtle Collection stack, the Chalk Talk stamp set was cut on the big shot with the matching framelits and 2 vellum butterflies were layered on the front. AAAAN there’s no ribbon!!!!!!!!!! its been ages since I made a ribbon less card but I have since then made another :)
Here’s a little close up

So pretty don’t you agree?
Right I need to dash as I have a date with a hot bath, jammies and a Thai Takeaway :)
Enjoy your evening I will see you again tomorrow .
Much love xxx

A different Card in a box

Hello there,
How’s your weekend going? I am a little late blogging today as I just returned home from teaching some fab classes to a fab group of crafters :)
We all had such a great  time, they very kindly treated me to a yummy lunch and I came home with a big smile on my face :). I love spending time with crafty people, you always end up having a good laugh (usually at my expense).
Do you run or attend a craft group? Would you like me to  come along and teach some fabulous projects? If yes is the answer then please contact me so that I can explain how it all works.
One of the projects we did today was another card in a box, this time we switched colours for reds and golds.
Card in a Box
Love the uniqueness of these cards, yet they are surprisingly easy to make. And I received so many requests on how you make them, that I decided to shoot a video. I hope to have it by Wednesday so stay tuned.
We used Soft Suede as our base colour and paired is with the Season of Style designer paper.

The snowflakes were stamped in Cherry cobbler and gold ink and cut out with the matching framelits. I am loving these so much this season. I used a glue pen to add some gold glitter accents. Here’s a little tip for you. I found that the gold glitter was a little too goldy (here we go again with the word manufacturing) so to get round it I mixed it with the  silver to tone it down. I am a lot happier with the toned down version, it looks less tacky and more classy :).
And thanks to the magentic platform I find myself getting a bit more use out of my framelits, used the Layered labels matching framelits for my sentiment.

And here's a link to the video tutorial so that you can make your own :)

Thank you for your visit and see you again soon.

Chalk Talk Slider card

Hello there,
I am now back home after a few days on the Pembrokeshire Coast. The Ocean Air did me a world of good, weather was fantastic and we had lazy days doing nothing apart from walking, eating and vegging out in the comfy lodge we hired.
Anyway today I am sharing a project I did all the way back in July for a sweet young lady. I was inspired by a make n take we made at our home office in Riverton, it is a different kind of a slider card.IMG_0372
I’ve used the popular Chalk Talk and Gorgeous Grunge stamp sets plus a selection of  punches.
The Gingham Garden washi tape cleverly helps create a pocket out of a standard card base and the Chalk talk matching framelits are used with the magnetic plate help create perfectly positioned windows with ease.
IMG_0374   Love the bright colour combo toned down by the fab Crumb Cake. We have Strawberry Slush, Coastal cabana, Crumb Cake and a bit of Gumball Green for the leaves.
And here’s the inside card pulled all the way out. Isn’t it cute? This style would make very elegant wedding stationery I think.

Thank you for visiting me today, fancy making this project? Here’s what you will need.
